The muzzen's calling for the  last prayer echoes from one minaret to another then Marrakech falls in deep sleep. An obssessing rumour springing out of the MEDINA. Protected by its thick ramparts, MARRAKECH is still asleep since thousands of years.

One can enjoy the miraculous landscape from the terrace that dominates the whole city. The first light of the day tells the story of the miracle of colours, odours, spices, mint and jasmine's scents. Torturous alleys with walls are animated .

The minarets, the green tiles of a palace, palm trees springing out of a neighbouring courtayrd are lighted up as hours go. Asphixiated by the midday heat, MARRAKECH holds its breaths, the density of life seduces the visitor. some men, women, overloaded asses, running kids, salesmen, craftsmen, porters, muleteers are rushing along the streets.

As the night falls down, we hear coppersmiths hammering some mallets. In the middle of a narrow alley, there is a riad which offers you the quietness and the freshness of its fountain.

This is the contrast of MARRAKECH, jealously skirted round by houses, open, warm and lively with its streets and its markets.
